I really did not love her wedding dress personally but I thought it fit the occasion spectacularly.
that engagement announcement dress is so iconic now though. I still love it.
I still credit Kate for helping to turn the tide against ubiquitous strapless wedding gowns of the 2000s.
She really understands her body & what looks good on her.
10/10 for the wedding gown. It fit her new role as a royal, it was reminiscent of Grace Kelly, BUT, looking back, she could’ve had someone do her hair and make up. It was not as put together as the rest of the wedding. For the announcement, I like that she stayed true to herself and mixed high and low, which she continues to do. However, it looks a little cheap looking back.
Kate’s wedding dress was stunning, I just wished they had more sense to better design for Meghan’s dress. It seemed like they put her in a curtain cut on purpose, such a boring design, Kate was lucky she got this dress design.
I loved the dress, but I wish the neck didn’t have that piece of lace that wraps high around her neck and to the back. It’s my only quibble with it.
I never liked the boobies part of her wedding dress
I saw someone point this out and now I can’t NOT see it: it looks like there are lace arrows on the bust pointing to her nipple area
Absolutely gorgeous, my favorite royal wedding dress
it isn’t my most favorite (the bodice area isn’t perfect for my taste). however her reception look with the little fuzzy cardigan is perfect.
It isn’t often referenced, but the back bustling is an homage to Princess Diana’s wedding dress.
I loved that detail.
I think it’s beautiful, as others have said the bodice part just looks a bit off.
