Multiple reports, including from the Philadelphia Business Journal, said an attempt is being made to possibly reopen ten former Iron Hill Brewery locations.
Former Famous Dave’s CEO Jeff Crivello has reportedly gotten court approval to acquire ten former Iron Hill sites, including Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach.
They could be reopened as Iron Hill Brewery or under other concepts and brand names.
There’s no mention of the Iron Hill flagship location in Newark as part of the plan.
It was closed on September 10th. By the end of September the company closed all of its locations, and then filed for bankruptcy on October 7th.
Other locations included in the proposed acquisition are Center City Philadelphia, West Chester, Huntingdon Valley, Newtown, Lancaster, Hershey and two South Carolina sites.
