Need to qualify for this, having our group games in Cardiff would be amazing
Very exciting although will be the most expensive Cymru game ever if we qualify. Opening game tickets for the last Euros were eye-wateringly pricey.
Wasn’t this announced several years ago? Or it like Wales holding a Tour de France stage in a few years (Mont down to Cardiff with a Cardiff time trial) that is only half announced.
The bit singling out Scotland at the end of the article was a bit weird. It would be unthinkable for Wales and Ireland not to qualify too, not sure why only Scotland was mentioned.
I’m really pleased that Cardiff will host the opening match and even more pleased that we’ll (hopefully) get to sing the national anthem without the bother of the music too. Class.
Both semis and the final being at Wembley is a bit crap, it’s never usually the case but UEFA fucking love that stadium.
Great news, but I just hope and wish that the whole to and from travel situation in Cardiff can be better organised than we’ve seen for so many years. I live in the city and feel for those travelling from outside to attend events and for local residents trying to negotiate straight forward journeys on the days in question. Last summer, I foolishly thought that a journey from North Cardiff to South Cardiff on the afternoon of a concert day would be simple. How wrong was I. Four miles into the trip I was in nose to tail traffic for a mile at which point I abandoned the journey and came home. That was two hours of my life I will never get back.
