Can we start banning Israel artists too ?
I’d ban him just on the basis how ridiculous he looks. It’s like IRL Fortnite skin dumbass.
I’m ashamed he was allowed to concert in Latvia
Morgenstern is not a Putin worshipper, he is just a rapper with brain capacity similar to a table spoon, speaking all kinds of random stuff in his interviews in a hunt for “hype” and controversy. He’s extremely popular among kids, but, IMO, listening to his music causes your brain to rot a bit. So while he could be a matter of national security (brain damage among youth) in a way, it is certainly not the way they present it in the article.
>”Putin Worshippers”
>Morgenshtern
Lol, LMAO even
Isn’t this guy also exiled from Russia
Kind of confused since the Russian government doesn’t like him and he’s been exiled from Russia, how does that make him a Putin worshipper?
he looks like a Russian Lil Pump
I don’t listen to him, but I know he recently played in Estonia. And to my knowledge, isn’t he anti-Putin and even called a foreign agent in russia?
On another note, Limp Bizkits 2026 show in Estonia was cancelled (not a government ban) due to public outrage a week after its announcement, due to the lead singers pro-russia past.
Didn’t this guy literally get exiled from Russia over an anti-war song shortly after Feb 2022, and move to Dubai? I missed the part where he became a Putin worshipper?
Weak country doing we country things.
so… he was banned just because he is russian?
Morgenshtern opposed the [2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2022_Russian_invasion_of_Ukraine).[^([36])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgenshtern#cite_note-38) His 2022 single [*12*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12_(song)) thematises this. In the chorus, Morgenshtern condemns Russian generals sending soldiers to the front lines of the war, singing “Big bosses will send [you] to the slaughterhouse, [and] bosses never give a fuck”.[^([37])](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgenshtern#cite_note-39) In May 2022, he was declared a [foreign agent](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Russian_foreign_agent_law) in Russia.
all in all, fuck Lithuanian government and all you russophobes pretending it’s okay
I’m confused. Didn’t this guy put out an anti war pro Ukraine song during the invasion. Also he’s considered a foreign agent by Russia.
imo, he’s not exactly russia supporter.
he’s persecuted in russia as well, because some russian politicians have a butt hurt on him, but he should have been more anti putin and anti war, instead he’s just trying to ignore the things
Vilnius Mayor Valdas Benkunskas is a dumbass
Ehhhh he would be on the bottom of my list of Russians to ban from Europe. Afaik he is exiled from Russia anyways and managed to piss off both sides.
Another case of cheap populism from Baltic politicians. Morgenshtern is not a “Putin supporter” — he was declared a “foreign agent,” had a criminal case opened against him, and was put on a wanted list. He also released an anti-war song called “12.”
Similarly, last year in Latvia, stand-up comedian Maria Markova was banned from entering the country for “promoting Russia,” even though she had signed an open collective anti-war letter by Russian comedians.
But why bother with such details — that would require having at least a bit of brain.
A bad day for free speech
