  1. Just please don’t do anything to increase cost on businesses, I’d rather pay more income tax then have no job, everyone I knows company has experienced redundancies in last year, these bosses don’t need any extra encouragement so cut people..

  2. How are they going to pay for 4* hotels and benefits for illegal migrants and refugees without raising income tax?🤔

  3. It’s going to be pensions. Specifically it’s going to workers pensions.

Cause nothing says _Labour_ than stealing young people’s futures.

  4. Maybe let’s look at the benefits bill and start there!!! I work 40-50 hours a week and get naff all and shit loads deducted in tax to pay for people who are too bone idle to look for work or too scared of their own shadow to even look for work. Something needs to give. It’s ridiculous the amount of young people out of work and not actively looking. It shouldn’t pay to not work!

  5. If they double the council tax on my no longer in a sought after area and not that valuable a house I will be screwed. It’s one of the possibilities being considered apparently and an easy win for the Labour base who love bashing “the rich”. It’s in band G because 35 years ago when they last did a valuation it was worth a fair bit and very desirable. The area has changed and it’s full of asbestos and high maintenance. The band F houses down the road are worth £100k more. But they’ll ruin my families finances whilst talking about fairness and broadest shoulders.

I wanted the Tories out because they were dead on their feet. This lot are shockingly worse. The already delayed budget is in 10 days and they are making it up as they go.

  6. If they do then they will both be gone before x mas.

  7. I thought Tony Blair’s “govern by focus group” was bad, but this is worse. Leaking various plans, and making policy based on which ones play well in the media.

  8. 2.1 billion a year just on asylum hotels…that doesn’t include the other incidentals like other government contracts and freebies that they all seem to get. You probably have a decent 5bn saving there if they went hardline on the endless attraction on boat arrivals.

  9. Ahhh but…..

It’ll be the old Labour stealth tax instead. A tax on your pensions, taxes on the EV you were encouraged to buy in the name of the environment, taxes in your inheritance, taxes on anything you gain. Those taxes will need to be found to continue to pay for a railway that gets you to Birmingham 10 minutes sooner or giving asylum seekers £3k to set up a business (in their home country) or some other shit.

  10. I wish the media would just fucking shut up and wait until the budget actually happens before writing anything. This constant “reporting” is doing my head in.

  11. They are a pair of fucking idiots

Where’s the money going to come from then ?

Bond markets will make them pay a heavy price for reckless stupidity

  12. Can the government ditch them in the budget and get someone that has the common sense to tax greed

  13. Jesus Christ. So she decided to stand on downing Street, giving a speech humiliating herself, for zero reason. Can these people actually not do anything? Honestly starting to think they have a humiliation kink.

  14. There’s still time for them to change their minds again, and if not they’ll just claw their money from somewhere else, either way we are paying for it.
