North Korea organized a symposium this week to denounce Japan’s “thrice-cursed crimes” during its colonial rule, demanding revenge while offering no response to Tokyo’s recent overtures for a summit.
A pro-DPRK outlet in Japan reported that farmers have successfully finished selling their recently harvested grain to the state, while reporting that workers are spending their earnings to buy fertilizer and supplies.
State media also reported on the U.S. government shutdown, largely sticking to the facts while portraying its archenemy as an unstable country in stark contrast to the stability of the DPRK
