  1. So they’re increasing the amount of time to apply for permanent residency to 20 years.

    What happens if those refugees say, have kids in that time? Well the kids be UK citizens?

    If the refugee status of the parents is revoked but the kids aren’t citizens if their parents home country what happens then?

    According to that BBC investigation into asylum hotels, the first thing a lot of refugees do as soon as they get here is a have a child so they can’t be deported.
