  10. Labour has gone awol. I bet if this was done by the right – there would be an outcry by the left, but the whole political spectrum has lost its soul. You don’t stand for what you believe in – you just pivot your beliefs to populism. Maybe good in the short-run but bad in the long-run.

  14. my granddad always said it takes a left wing government to implement a significant right wing policy & vice versa, because the only way you don’t get mass opposition to the change is if the opposition is already on board with the policy…hypocrisy is the lubrication that allows the political machine to keep on turning
