I trust france to sabotage any combined development effort, because they want the gear to work well in FRA Afrique. “Who cares if the tank/apc/IFV. would get stuck in mud on a eastern european front it needs to have wheels instead of threads” mentality.
Germany although incompetent at procuring the equipment (up to a point that they pay more for their own homemade equipment than foreign countries) does produce equipment that is more suitable for an environment that most european buyers have actual interest in.
french complaining about downvoting is the funniest shit ever. You guys are no different. you guys are there in droves as soon as Dassaults online reputation has to be defended at all cost.
In previous threads I could go to all my comment statistics and see that the downvoting ratio matches with french views.

That last comment is the only correct one. Defence companies are all shit, they’re all balls deep in their respective Defence Ministries.
Germans get propaganda about how Dassault is the bad guy, French people get propaganda about how we don’t need anyone but Dassault. It’s all propaganda in the end to maximize profits. In the case of France, it’s pretty crazy how Dassault managed to survive the nationalizations in the 1980s and since then has been able to pretty much control governmental defence policies.
Like, in Germany the obvious current culprit of this is Rheinmetall.
