Fact

Newschecker ran a keyword search for “India Pakistan cricket fight,” which led us to multiple reports, seen here and here, stating that India A were defeated by Pakistan Shaheens in an Asia Cup Rising Stars encounter in Doha on Sunday, where a controversy erupted after a clean catch was denied against Pakistan A. None of the reports featured the viral video while also stating that the match happened in Doha, contradicting the viral claim that it happened in Sharjah.

Newschecker found certain visual anomalies usually associated with AI imagery, such as the garbled text seen on the jersey and distorted hands, among others.

We found that the earliest instance of this video was posted on Instagram on November 14, 2025, by a page, “Jhatka Ai”, that regularly uploads AI videos, while the bio states, “AI + Memes = Entertainment Redefined.”

We ran the image past Hive Moderation, an AI-image detection tool, which said it was “96.3% likely to contain AI-generated or deepfake content,” while the WasitAI tool detected some parts of the video to be AI. Hence, we can say that the viral video is not real and generated by AI.
