Belarus hosts Greece on Tuesday on the final matchday of UEFA World Cup qualifying.

Both teams will be playing for pride after enduring disappointing qualifying campaigns.

The home side will be looking for its first win after posting a record of 0W-1D-4L so far in qualifying. That draw did come on Saturday, though, as Belarus managed a surprise 2-2 stalemate at group leader Denmark.

Greece had big ambitions of qualification after beginning Group C with a 5-1 win over Belarus in September.

But Ivan Jovanović’s side posted three straight defeats after that win in Piraeus, ending its hopes of a first World Cup since 2014.

Greece is coming off a 3-2 win over Scotland on Saturday, giving it hope it can at least end qualifying on a high.
