President Trump and Zohran Mamdani appeared to have a “giddy” love-fest during their first White House meeting Friday — with the New York City Mayor-elect’s stance showing he wants to be “a good little boy” after the two hurled attacks at each other for months, a body language expert revealed.
As the political odd couple spoke to reporters after their private conversation, the non-verbal message they projected was over-the-top happiness, Carole Lieberman, M.D., a body and brain analyst, told The Post.
“It seems as though someone may have diffused laughing gas into the meeting they just had, because both President Trump and Mayor Mamdani seemed almost giddy. Their behavior towards one another was like a ‘love fest,’” said Lieberman, who is also a psychiatrist.

“Mamdani stood like a little school boy, his hands clasped together most of the time, trying his hardest to look like a ‘good little boy,’” she added.
“It was as if he was cast in ‘Oliver (Twist),’ saying, ‘Please, sir, can I have some more?’”
During the 30-minute press conference, Mamdani, 34, grinned with his hands clasped in front of him next to Trump, 79, who sat relaxed at the Resolute Desk, and the pair interacted several times.
“Trump was very ‘hands on,’ tapping Mamdani and shaking hands with him. But, he made sure he tapped Mamdani’s hand last, to indicate that Trump is the one in control,” said Lieberman.
The pols met for the first time at the White House Friday to discuss the issue of affordability and later described their conversation as cordial and productive.

“I met with a man who’s a very rational person. I met with a man who wants to see — really wants to see — New York be great again,” Trump said from the Oval Office.
“I’ll be cheering for him.”
“I enjoyed our conversation and I look forward to working together to deliver that affordability for New Yorkers,” Mamdani said.
Mamdani has previously called Trump a “despot,” and Trump has slammed the mayor-elect as a “100% Communist Lunatic.”
