  9. But let’s be clear here. Being named here is not being guilty. Like I’m good friends with my neighbour but he could be a serial rapist for all I know. So if he’s found guilty of this and I’m named in the ‘neighbour files’ for having a cup of tea with him every month does that mean I need to be lynched too?

  11. William Shakespeare was also mentioned a dozen times. Pretty safe to say he was not involved.

    He also gives us a bench mark to tell the difference between people who are mentioned in passing, and people who were mentioned because they were somehow involved. Mentioned less or about the same as Shakespeare, then it’s just casual conversation. Mentioned at a rate that doubles or more that of Shakespeare, then some pretty serious questions need to be asked about exactly what their involvement was.

    From the count that I did, it’s Mandelson and Andrew who need seriously looking at. (But then both of them are already under suspicion.)

    These files aren’t just the blackmail information Epstein was keeping. They are also effectively notes regarding new social connections via events. Events often arranged by agents. So ya, I expect a lot of random celebrities to be “name dropped” here. Don’t get ahead of yourself on what their name being in the files really means is all I’m saying.

  20. They’re just names mentioned in Emails, Lady Diana was apparently another one. Doesn’t mean they ever went to the island or knew anyone personally. If I was the publicist of any of these names I would insist the context should be given in full…unless of course some of the names do have something to hide. Everyone is just being tarred with the same brush.

  28. Being in the Epstein files doesn’t automatically mean you’ve been to the island or on his plane. It just means that your name is mentioned in the emails.

    For example, Sarah Fergerson had emails with Epstein, connected him to Andrew. But seemingly never went to the island.

  38. Just to be clear on this: those celebrities are mentioned multiple times but nowhere is there any correspondence between them and Epstein recorded in the files. Being mentioned in the thousands of files isn’t proof that they did anything wrong, especially if there’s no recorded correspondence, and that’s why these specific files have been released. This is the Trump administration showing that there are names mentioned who doesn’t have any link to Epstein, so that when Trump’s name is mentioned hundreds of times in the files, they can claim plausible deniabiity and claim it’s the same situation there.

  40. All 3 of them, and David Beckham too, have so far only been confirmed to have been mentioned in Epsteins email conversations. Considering they’re famous, that means jack shit at this point
