In three years of war, my respect for the Ukrainians went up to sky. From just an another ex-soviet corrupt country to the symbol of verticality. That’s why I was so proud to discover a few months ago that my DNA is 15% Ukrainian. Sava, to them!
I don’t think I’ve ever heard of people’s spirits breaking from attacks like the ones Russia are doing. All they will achieve is a people more ready to keep resisting
when a community unites to support each other during tough times, especially those colder than our warm West, we should take inspiration from their example, if they can do it, we can do it also!
Grocery shopping during a power outage is quite an experience. They only let 2 people in so nobody can steal, and you’re just grabbing whatever you can find. But that’s over now ’cause everyone’s got gas generators. And getting back is quite a problem since there’s no street lighting. Stray dogs are barking and you can’t see anything.
