Afghanistan says Pakistani airstrikes have killed 10 people, mostly children • FRANCE 24 English

Nine children and one woman killed by a bomb in Afghanistan this Tuesday. The Taliban government blaming Pakistan for the strike and adding that there were more bombs near the border that wounded many. The strikes follow a suicide attack in Pakistan Monday, the headquarters of local troops targeted. No official claim of responsibility for that attack, but our correspondent Shazib Baza says that they were Afghan nationals. He tells us more about the bombings now in Afghanistan and how likely it is that Pakistan is behind them. Well, we are still waiting to hear from the Pakistani authorities who are yet to confirm the strikes. But on the other hand, the spokesperson of the Afghan government, Zabula Mojahed has said that Pakistan has carried out strikes in at least three different southern and southeastern provinces of Kunar, Host and Paktika. He said that these strikes took place around midnight. What I would like to remind you is that uh that these strikes have happened just a day after a deadly test attack on the headquarters of a federal paramilitary force in Peshawar which is the capital of Pakistan’s Kabar Pakuma province and and Pakistan’s state-run news agency uh the associated uh the associate press of Pakistan reported yesterday evening that all three terrorists involved in the attacks were Afghan nationals even though the Pakistani authorities are yet to confirm the strikes but we have seen multiple times uh in the recent past that after a major attack takes place in Pakistan, Pakistan has Pakistan has carried out strikes inside Afghanistan claiming to target anti-Pakistan militant groups that are based on the Afghan side of the bordering areas. us.

  1. First pakistani army gave birth to taliban and destroyed the governance system in afghanistan and killed or displaced millions of aghans over decades. Now they are not happy even with taliban and bombing innocent afghan families again.

  17. Being a Sikh from East Punjab. Pakistan have right to defend itself. They're doing what they have to.. everyday there is TTP attacks against Pakistan from Afghans Supported, so if Pakistan eliminate them what's wrong with in it? I know now some Godi lovers will hate me but this is the fact.
