If you’re ever nearby, you should go and see the bath house ruins in Bearsden. It’s just there sandwiched into a modern landscape. It’s quite fascinating thinking what’s under your feet.
If you head up to the Falkirk wheel, Rough castle Roman fort it’s a amazing site the sheer size and the earthworks are incredible alongside it’s beautiful location 😊
Plus teh whole area is just really nice. Go to the island on teh causeway, or wander up the river, lovely.
We visited this from School. It has remained in my mind since then, as our teacher made it come alive.
