  1. The US pretends this is the deal they want for Ukraine, but they know Russia won’t agree so it’s okay to support it and pretend to be on our side.

    Russia wants a deal that means a combo of surrender and corruption.

  3. This deal was a waste of resources and time. I keep hoping Europe is ready to stand on its own but the leaders here are still afraid of their own shadows

  6. It became pretty obvious they will not stop until they have Donetsk (or they crash). That’s why any proposals with ceasefire then deal with land (you’d have to be dumb to believe Ukraine would give up any extra land, and all the land Russia has in other oblasts is pretty useless for trade) or peace on contact line will be rejected.

    That and not putting NATO on any security guarantees. Even if it’s US and EU. Just not NATO, for internal propaganda purposes.

  8. This situation is not complicated. Just support Ukraine so they can end this war on their own terms. Russia clearly has no interest in negotiating nor is Russia’s word worth jack shit. 

  11. This is way out there but It seems like we are going to trade Venezuela for Ukraine. And Russia couldn’t say/do anything about it.

  12. They want more citadel cities that they have partially taken. I think they will try to level Kherson with bombings, as they did Mariupol. The goal is to force Ukraine to give up the full oblasts.

  13. All of Ukraine goes back to Ukraine. All that got annexed goes back to Ukraine. All Russians must leave Ukraine You made a promise in 1986 Vladimir Putin is a liar. He did not respect the promise. He cannot be trusted.
