Vice President Vance arrives in downtown Lexington; motorcade causing some traffic delays

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Vice President JD Vance, Second Lady Usha Vance and their children are in Lexington.

Our WKYT crew spotted the vice presidents’ motorcade near Tony’s Steakhouse.

The motorcade has also caused some traffic delays for people trying to head downtown for Wednesday night’s basketball game at Rupp Arena.

Earlier Wednesday, the family spent time at Fort Campbell, serving meals to soldiers.

After leaving Fort Campbell, Vice President Vance, the Second Lady and their children were spotted in downtown Lexington.
