Still nicer than the new Oval Room
“I’m, I’m simply saying that life, uh… finds a way.”
I wonder if it effects the weather yet.
real life spacehulk
Weren’t people cleaning that shit up?
It’s getting smaller all the time.

Can we have a photo of it?
This is fascinating, I wonder if there is increased fish activity below the garbage patch from the shade provided and food sources on the plastic.
Thank you China/India
That what we get when private companies sell garbage to offshore countries and all they do is haul it 1/2 across the ocean and dump it.
Toxic Garage Island.
I thought this was cleaned up by that kid who set up a self cleaning machine?
Plastic Beach
Didn’t Mr Beast or someone like him claim they were cleaning it up?
DID AN INFLUENCER LIE TO ME?
I’m gonna move there.
WTF , they moved Texas offshore?
It’s worth noting that the whole “island” isn’t one solid mass but a region where the plastic and micro plastics are most dense. You will not find a picture of the island like it’s shown on this map.
It’s the official sister city of San Francisco
Trashlantis!
I am okay with this. If we have to have a permanent trash gyre, let’s get something out of it.
People hear “Great Pacific Garbage Patch” and imagine a river in India levels of trash. That’s not it at all. It’s invisible to the eye and heavily dispersed. You could sail over it and not know you were in the garbage patch. The plastic is so small most of it is microscopic.
What about all those YouTube boats cleaning it up.
That page/site is so hard to read
So does cleaning it up… destroy ecosystems?
See that? Nature always adapts. So stop worrying about it.
