A long shot question. I was at Langestrand Kapell a few days back and this gravestone caught my attention. Anyone who could provide some background on it? Is it a child grave or does the figure portray something else?

Might be. We have a large one with three kids on our graveyard, “three brothers”. I assume they all died at young age.
While I don’t know the symbolic meaning of this specific tombstone, it is not uncommon with inlay work in tombstones here.
