Sarina Wiegman hasn’t made as many changes as we thought she might for England.

There’s a debut for 30-year-old goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse with Hannah Hampton and Khiara Keating absent through injury.

Chelsea’s Niamh Charles comes in at left-back, while Manchester City forward Lauren Hemp is back for the first time since Euro 2025.

The trusted trio of Keira Walsh, Georgia Stanway and Ella Toone start in midfield.

England XI: Moorhouse, Bronze, Charles, Walsh, Le Tissier, Morgan, Mead, Stanway, Russo, Toone, Hemp.

Subs: Hinds, Baggaley, Kendall, Wubben-Moy, Beever-Jones, Kelly, Kearns, Park, Blindkilde Brown, Roebuck, Clinton, Denton, Fisk, Godfrey.

It’s a relatively unfamiliar China team to many in England though Li Mengwen spent two years at Brighton, including a season on loan at West Ham. She joined Rangers this year.

China XI: Hongyan, Jiaxing, Linlin, Haiyan, Wei, Yanwen, Mengwen, Ziqin, Qiaozhu, Aifang, Gumula.

Subs: Yu, Mengdi, Xin, Mengyu, Kun, Yuexin, Fangxin, Jing, Linyan, Yatong, Rui, Yujie, Yanqiu, Chengshu.
