The Chairman of the Vetevendosje Movement and acting Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, participated in the proceedings of the Council of the Socialist International, which was held in Malta, with the participation of leaders from around the world.

The proceedings began with a meeting of the Presidium of the Socialist International, where Kurti, together with prime ministers and leaders of social democratic, socialist and labor parties, discussed global challenges related to peace, democracy, social justice and climate change.

In addition to participating in the Presidium, Kurti also delivered a speech before international delegations, where he emphasized the importance of human rights, the rule of law, and functional democracy.

He said that during his mandate, the fight against corruption has been a main pillar, contributing to economic growth, while redistribution policies have aimed at the most inclusive development.

This forum was attended by prime ministers and senior representatives from various countries, including the host, the Prime Minister of Malta Robert Abela, as well as the Prime Minister of Spain and President of the Socialist International, Pedro Sánchez.

The discussions focused on global developments, challenges in the Mediterranean region and the role of the Socialist International in promoting stability and peace. /Telegraph/
