Venezuela hits out at Trump’s airspace closure ‘colonialist threat’ as Maduro’s jet flies to Brazil

1. Venezuela has hit back at President Trump after he announced on Saturday that the country’s airspace should be considered “closed in its entirety”.

   The South American country’s foreign ministry responded to Trump’s announcement and accused the president of making a “colonialist threat”. It also called on “the international community, the sovereign governments of the world, the U.N., and the relevant multilateral organisations to firmly reject this immoral act of aggression”.

2. “Colonialist” says the country exporting its poor in migration waves causing crises all over the Americas.
