Ah man, this reminds me of a flight I took back when Covid was bigger. Flew into City airport and rather than the usual pattern we just flew straight in over Canary Wharf. Pretty sure we were closer to the top of the buildings than the people on the ground.
St Paul’s Cathedral is very brightly lit

My favourite thing in the world.
This is the reason I always pick a seat on that side of the plane when flying in to Heathrow.
