NORWAY, Mich. (WLUC) – Students are bringing Christmas cheer to downtown Norway.
A dozen businesses are letting students paint holiday pictures on their windows as part of the town’s Christmas celebration.
Events kick off Friday with downtown businesses staying open late and offering promotions and holiday treats.
Norway Student Madilyn Jacks says students like her always help spread cheer.
“I think that when you look at things that remind you of Christmas, I think it kind of cheers you up and gets you in the mood for Christmas,” Jacks said. “It’s always fun seeing the people in our school, the people that you see every day out doing something to light up kids’ spirits.”
A Christmas parade will follow a tree lighting and fireworks display at 5:30 p.m. CT.
