  1. I once asked what the etiquette for rubbing one out under the table is and he never answered, the charlatan.

  2. For way too long I thought this said he died in Fredrikstad.

Also, nothing says British etiquette more than cutting a scone in two by elaborate rules while shit talking other countries, including their own colony.

  3. So do everyone who lives here. Hes just trying to fit in.

  4. En etikette-guru som eter banan med kniv og gaffel, vel å merke.

    Umulig å ta seriøst vel?

  5. Well known British professional etiquette expert William Hanson, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/William_Hanson_(author) released earlier this year a video to promote his new book «Just good manners», and for some reason namedropped Fredrikstad, Norway, as a place where he might not fit in:

«Can you imagine if I had been born in Australia and rocked up to teach napkin manners to a tech startup in Wagga Wagga? [eyeroll]

Or if I were Norwegian and dared discuss how to split a scone in Fredrikstad?»

  6. Well, if I ever become Eternal Dictator of Norway, my first edict will be to make Fredrikstad and Sarpsborg massive parking lots.

  7. “Etiquette” on that level is for people who have a hard time finding a reason to feel good about themselves, and therefore spend their time looking for someone they can look down upon for not knowing the minute details of the social code they invented.

I am pretty sure people in Fredrikstad couldn’t care less, and just go on being happy the way they always have.

  8. To be fair, idk about Frederikstad but as soon as I’m off the plane in Oslo or Tromsø I’m always struck at the poor queuing “etiquette”.

  9. People of Fredrikstad have no etiquette nor manners, so I agree with him

  10. What an absurd comment to make. Also, how delightfully ironic to make rude comments in a purported video about “etiquette” Shouldn’t this “gentleman” know that it is quite rude to make comments on other cultures you hardly know anything about?

  11. After watching the news about his fellow country men demonstrating against inmigration in Benidorm (Spain), I can only say, thanks God I’m not British.

  12. Ænte Fresta’ du drar te for overklasse tullball. Du drar dit for og slappe’ta og koseræ’!

    🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

  13. Etiquette in Fredrikstad, is something you rip off the energy drinks you bought in Svinesund.

  14. Dæven, nå prekær em om oss i England, ærnte den lille værdensbyen lengre. Nå spillær vi i world league!

  15. I find this man insufferable. Self-appointed judge and jury. Ignore him.

  16. One site I found said Norway was the 5th richest country in the world, with the UK 20 spots behind. Thanks heaven I’m Norwegian…

  17. When generalizing about another country, you never take their worst examples and generalize the rest of the country based on that. Tut tut, imagine that, people would so vehemently repudiate the knowledge of places like Fauske or Drammen existing, and you would, most unelegantly, have to digress from the point you were trying to make.

Instead, you take a place people already poke good-natured fun at, and generalize based on that. This way, everyone gets to share in the laugh. Do your research. We’re not Americans after all.

  18. The vidios are all in good fun and hey it did give Fredrikstad some PR in a good way lol

  19. “En entikette-guru”

    Ok, så ingen relevant? Alright.

  20. I think he’s making the somewhat redundant point that he wouldn’t have British etiquette rules if he was raised elsewhere. I don’t believe that it’s an attempt to neg Norway.

  21. Looks like he needs to cut down on bread, chips and pasta. Insuline resistance is written all over his face.

  22. Fredrikstad and skarnes is peak Norway, and you can’t change my mind.
