A former nuclear protection specialist for the US Air Force has pinpointed three areas in Britain to avoid in the event of World War 3. This alarming advice comes just hours after NATO issued a concerning warning about potential “pre-emptive strikes” on Russia, further fueling fears of WW3.

Admiral Giuseppe Cavo Dragone, head of NATO’s Military Committee, stated they were “studying everything” following several cyber attacks. In retaliation, Vladimir Putin’s leading spokesperson, Major General of Aviation Vladimir Popov, suggested that NATO’s actions could ignite a “full-scale nuclear war.”

But if such a catastrophic scenario were to occur, with Russian bombs descending on Britain, which regions should be avoided?

Gene Sticco, a national security expert and former Air Force nuclear protection specialist, singled out three specific towns and cities across Britain that people should steer clear of.

“Certainly anywhere near the US and NATO facilities,” he advised. “Otherwise, the key military centers – Telford, Plymouth, South Yorkshire, and the South East and South West of England.”, reports the Express.

When asked to specify the city or town in Britain he believed an enemy would most likely target if launching an attack tomorrow, he responded: “Naval centers – this is the UK’s strength and lifeline. Strike at Plymouth and Barrow-in-Furness.”

HMNB Devonport, the UK’s most expansive naval installation, sits in Plymouth. Meanwhile, the Shropshire community of Telford hosts a major Ministry of Defense operation at Donnington, functioning as a crucial supply center for Britain’s military forces.

Barrow-in-Furness is home to the only facility in the UK with the capability to design and build nuclear submarines for the Royal Navy – the BAE Systems Submarine Solutions shipyard.

This development follows Popov’s assertion to Moscow publication Moskovskij Komsomolets that there “will be consequences” for any nation deploying Storm Shadow missiles.

He declared: “If a military officer makes such statements, it means operational planning is already underway. Because NATO headquarters is engaged in planning operational-strategic missions, not launching, say, a single tactical missile.

“In this case, we could be talking about planning a massive or group strike on Russian territory, for example, using Storm Shadow missiles. But we must understand that there will be consequences for any state that uses these missiles. Poland, Romania, or even Germany could theoretically do so. But that would be World War 3.”

In further comments, he branded NATO as “stupid” if it were to launch an assault on Russia’s Kaliningrad region, while also claiming the alliance “is ready” for such a preemptive attack.

Gene’s journey through the oil and gas sector will be chronicled in a memoir, aptly named UNCONVENTIONAL – A true story of oil, intelligence and consequence, set to hit the shelves on December 9.
