Every day coming up the escalators I stare at it to make sure it doesn't move (some sort of childhood impulse idk) and today it had!

  10. The elphant was installed there because the station enterance on the site of the Astley’s Amphitheatre circus which featured elephants in its shows.

  21. That joke was so bad it’s good, and now I’m genuinely worried about where it went. I had the same weird habit of checking on it every morning. I hope it’s just off having a better commute than the rest of us.

  24. Realized it was at the wrong stop, jumped on the tube back to Castle

  25. Is been taken away for repairs. Expected back in the new year. It’s a a wire mesh type of affair so probably needs the occasional check up and is relatively easy to move. It was originally just an temporary installation but proved so popular it became a fixture.

  26. Can’t be that hard to find, it might not have even had a back half. How difficult can it be to find a two-legged elephant!
