Well, I am fairly new to this coffee journey. I will admit, I was instant coffee guy back home. After coming to finland, I was stuck with nescafe classic/gold for a month or so because it felt like home. Then I tried to get out of my comfort zone and tasted several filter coffees in uni restaurants, didn’t like them much. Then out on a whim, I bought a dirt cheap coffee machine, this Arvid coffee (it was on a sale for 4.5€ at K-market) and came home. This coffee changed my idea of coffee taste. It tasted amazing! I now look forward to every morning to brew myself a cup of coffee. I was running low on coffee and got a new pack yesterday. The half used Nescafe Gold is rotting in my pantry ever since. Goddamn, how did I even managed to torture myself with that shit for so long time?!

And now it feels like I’ve stepped into a whole new world.. Any suggestions for new coffee brands or anything coffee related?

  1. Kulta Katriina and Löfbergs are decent cheap options in my opinion. Pick your roast of choice.

Kulta Katriina Tumma Pahto and Löfbergs Jubelium or Kharisma are usually what I go for on those brands.

  2. I usually buy one of Arvid’s coffee or Löfberg’s Kharisma to brew at home, but there are many small roasteries whose coffee is delicious. One worth mentioning is in Lahti, it’s called Kahiwa

  3. Whats the best most tastier coffe i can buy in prisma or k market? Well best is kinda relative as diff ppl have diff tastes but smth that most ppl like it. Name it and i m gonna buy right away, ground coffe.

  4. btw, seeing the comments and at least one person agreeing with me – its glad to know that my taste in coffee is not shit 😭

  5. Curious: is Bustelo coffee (for mokas) available in Finland?
