I hate the name but if it means two turkey dinners I’m in
More like ‘fanksgivin’
Ta guvs, innit.
tbh I’m not sure why ending a sentence with ‘innit’ makes the rest of the world think it’s English. I don’t think I’ve actually heard anybody say it unironically in 20 years.
Cheers Drive Day
Gettin in the Picky Bits for Thankie Gives Babs x

This is stupid. It’s like saying we’d call a holiday, holibobs!
I still have platty joobs stuck in my head. Reckon I think about it at least once a week
If we had “Thanks Giving” in Britain it’d be called “Cheers Mates”
Tah Prezzies,

More likely Cheers or it would get abbreviated to Ta.
But also, we don’t celebrate our genocides of natives, we sweep them under the rug and never talk about them or teach them in school.
Thanky McThankface
Would just be called ta by my grandad
Nah it would be “CheersMate”
It is celebrated in the UK, in the Isle of Lewis. I had thanksgiving holidays last weeked, admittedly on Fri to Mon where our thanksgiving day was Thursday. Different to the american one though, I think.
