Megyn REVEALS Personal Connection to NYU Student Who Got Attacked on the Street and Broke the News

Earlier this week, I reposted on X a horrifying video of she’s not my friend, but she’s a dear friend of my friend, and she was violently attacked on the streets of New York City in broad daylight. This is an NYU student named Amelia Lewis. She was walking to class around 9:20 in the morning on Monday, just a couple days ago, when a man came up from behind, struck her, and yanked her to the ground by her hair. Let me tell you what happened here. My dear friend is the mother of Amelia’s best friend on at NYU. And so my friend Nancy texted me the video of Amelia talking about this on TikTok. She went on TikTok immediately and was upset. I’m like, “What is this?” She said, “It just happened. This is outrageous.” I’m like, “This is outrageous.” I said, “Is she on X?” You know, I’m I’m I’m not personally on TikTok. We our show is on TikTok, but I I’m not personally on there. And um she’s like, “She’s not.” I’m like, “Tell her to get on X.” So, she went over, she created an account on X and tweeted the video. She has a new account. I retweeted it calling attention to it, saying, “We need help identifying this guy.” And can I tell you what happened? The ex army went to work. I tagged the NYPD and the NYPD police chief and then some other people I know who are very connected to NYPD retweeted it and added other CC’s who they knew would pay attention and this thing started to go viral online on Monday. And guess what? Police confirmed late yesterday the arrest of 45year-old James Rizzo, who has been charged with persistent sexual abuse, forcible touching, and assault. And now we’re learning even more about this guy’s deeply disturbing history. 16 prior arrests, a 2-year sentence for persistent sexual abuse, and even a 1997 murder charge.

  4. I know this girl through my cousins friend who knew this guys sister and I was told the world was going to end by nuclear bombs dropped by Donald Trump to punish all of the evil people who I hate wished were dead! Beware…

  10. But he’s in New York so he walks in the front door of the courthouse and walks out the back door no matter what is crime is. But if you’re a homeowner and you own a gun there and you get caught and go to jail most fucked up laws in these ultra liberal states.

  18. I am German and my wife is British and we have visited Prague several times (always wonderful). A few days ago she suggested a visit to New York city and insisted Prague is more dangerous. When I checked, I was horrified to calculate that violent crime is ten times higher in New York and criminals are just released to commit again…am I panicking unnecessarily?

  20. This woman, through you, had a platform to attain attention, and potentially, justce. Think how many get no validation for what they experienced…
