  3. There was a similar baby boom right before or after COVID. I feel like Eugenie and maybe Zara had kidlets right around then.

  4. What a beautiful moment captured by Princess Margaret’s husband!!! Thank you for sharing. Must have been a very happy time. I would imagine those children became close friends, as well as relatives as they grew up royals. How special! 💫

  5. I don’t get the short hair looks of the 50s through the 60 until the 2000s. Like as soon as you finish your wedding so many women did the chop. While all these women looks great, it’s such an aged look.

    I’m glad women don’t have to conform to these mindsets of proper hair length anymore. Have it long, medium, short, all is acceptable now.

  8. I met Princess Alexandra and her husband Sir Angus Ogilvy once – in California. They were doing some kind of “British Day” in Orange County. Back in the ’80’s. I was very impressed by her questions – she had studied up or been given good information about what to ask that wasn’t typical or boring. I was also impressed by how incredibly clean they and their clothes looked – I guess that is what valet’s can accomplish! I also thought that being a royal was a job that did not appeal to me at all.

  11. James Ogilvy is a leap day baby and his mother is a Christmas baby. His uncle Michael is a 4th of July baby which is why FDR was his godfather.

  15. Princess Alexandra was one of the most beautiful of the Windsors, much prettier than the Queen and Princess Margaret, probably due to the genes from Princess Marina. Luckily the Duchess of Kent had no Windsor genes.
