  1. Cool idea if it works. Would be awesome if highways could have f-sero type lanes for charging while driving.

    But also I wonder about alignment for wireless charging, is it going to be like those car washes where you need to drive forward or back to line up properly? Could be comical for people that can barely operate blinkers

    Except that it doesn’t do bidirectional charging, and if you did then it would have 20% loses.

    With a wired connection you can do V2G today and you would only have 10% in losses.

  3. Great news. Interesting that with the remarkable 90% energy efficiency of EVs, this roughly doubles the energy loss yet remains multiples more energy efficient than in any ICE vehicle.
