At least until you know where you been you will never truly be able to admire it that why we see the all beuty in eroupe and they dismiss it
Tbf people do say “I’m im off to America”
Miami or Peoria??
I’ll be honest, I used to slag people off who did this. Then I moved to the US, and now I do it too.
Real MFs go to Hull
I do this with Asia sometimes. I’ve only been to one country there, but it was governed by one, and now by another. And it has yellow taxis like NYC! (I know that’s in America, where I have not been. But, yea, the Asian country I did visit definitely showed influences from other East Asian countries!)
(Actually I did also stop off in Seoul, but was in transit most of that time, and sleeping in hotels the rest)
Don’t go to Bradford
Anyone else noticed Reddit is basically just bots reposting the same shit weekly?
Conversely people from the UK have zero clue how big the states is.
My mum called me worried about a nasty storm in Florida years back, I’m in Seattle. Like mum, you’re closer to the storm than I am.
Because it’s all one big piece of shit
Bro went to Kent and is comparing it to Venice
To be fair, when you go to America did you go to Miami Florida, Tombstone Arizona, or Denver Colorado? We tend to look at the countries in Europe like we have states in America.
The further away you are from your reference the more likely you are to generalise. Applies to us all, big deal?
