1. Trump did this, with Putin and MBS right behind him. By breaking up US alliances, trade relationships and climate commitments, they perpetuate the fossil fuel industry everywhere.

2. Unfortunately Canadian voters no longer want to fight climate-change. We (not me) were duped by the Conservatives thinking doing the right thing was too difficult and we were not up to the task. That fate was sealed when Mark Carney promised to remove the carbon tax. Even the baby-steps were too hard to do.

3. The west is not a moral place, and Canada is not a moral nation.

4. Anyone who thought a Central Banker would do otherwise was sadly mistaken.

5. Yeah, because they’re not doing anything. Even the meagre commitments they made are being scaled back or abandoned.

6. He’s not a defector… he’s still a Liberal MP, he just resigned from the cabinet. He’s also not an activist either for believing in climate change and trying to do the right thing, this narrative is infuriating.

   Carney failed. But we saw that coming. Economy >>> Environment right?

   who can get elected on consuming less and helping out our global neighbors so they don’t pollute as well
