The European Central Bank has concluded its review of regulatory rules governing the region’s financial system and plans to reveal its findings in the coming days, according to President Christine Lagarde.

“On Thursday next week, Luis de Guindos, the vice president, will be presenting very specifically — I think there are 15 different areas, in which simplifications will be recommended,” Lagarde told lawmakers Wednesday in Brussels. “It’s been hard work, it’s been successful, and approved by the entire Eurosystem at the national central-bank levels.”
