  1. EU officials confronted the Palestinian Authority after discovering it was still paying terrorists through alternative channels despite pledging to stop.

    At a recent meeting in Brussels, several EU member states presented evidence that the PA continued these payments while violating commitments tied to European financial aid.

    The EU reminded the PA that its funding, worth over a billion euros for 2025 to 2027, depends on ending all stipends to terrorists and removing incitement from school textbooks. Despite a promised reform in February, Israel and EU officials say the PA simply changed the payment method and continued support for many terrorists and their families.

    The PA says a new transparent payment system will begin in January and denies intentional wrongdoing, saying it even fired its finance minister. The EU said it regrets the recent payments and is demanding clarification.

    Israel recently revealed that the PA increased terror linked payments this year and called on Europe to hold the PA accountable.
