  1. Pretty sure that’s how we end up with the urban legend of how Martha Stewart became a ghost!

  2. Martha Stewart food will live on, with part of her in every bite

  3. The Science Vs. podcast episode on human composting was really interesting. I support the idea.

  4. Couple interesting ideas I’ve heard,

    1. Burying the body without a casket, and then plant a tree sapling of the person’s choice over their corpse.

    2. Years ago on a Ted Talk I heard of burying a person in a suite filled with mushroom spores.

  5. I was not expecting her to be a fan of the green death industry and I must say I am pleasantly surprised! Maybe this will get more people on board with alternatives to embalming or regular cremation!

  6. I don’t want to waste space when I’m dead, but I’d like to have somewhere for people to visit if that’s something they want, so the tree thing has appealed to me.

  7. I wanna be planted in the root ball of a big ass oak. Like an angel oak or something. Big Forest Gump lookin ass oak tree.

  8. I’m so glad our government is authority and enough to prevent this. Screw her.

  9. I guess she hasn’t heard about mad cow disease yet.

  10. So … no decorative pillow made of Martha Stewart flesh and a bone basket?

  11. After such a long well fed, exercised, pesticide free, organic life.to die then go on to poison the earth with embalming fluids or extra carbon output of cremation would be antithetical to that path in some perception. Natural burials are a thing.

  12. Honestly, being composted on your own farm is the most Martha Stewart thing she could possibly say.

  13. RFK Jr’s drooling over all the potential brain worms!

  14. Yeeted into a volcano for me. The ancient gods need appeasing.

  15. The new owners will have the ghost of Martha Stewart nagging them to change the seasonal decorations.
