■ IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said the Gaza Yellow Line is a “new border,” adding that the IDF has “freedom of operation.”
■ Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the second phase of the agreement ending the war in Gaza will begin soon.
■ Netanyahu said that he would not retire from political life in exchange for a pardon in his criminal cases.
■ Netanyahu said Israel will remain in the territories it occupied in Syria and that the country will not tolerate what it sees as a threat.
■ Hamas is ready to discuss “freezing or storing” its arsenal of weapons as part of its cease-fire with Israel, Hamas political official Bassem Naim said.
■ The IDF said it killed a Palestinian who crossed the Yellow Line in Gaza, and shot Palestinians who threw rocks at a West Bank highway, killing one and wounding another.
■ Fifteen Israel Air Force cadets were sentenced to prison time after they invited outside guests to a secret, isolated location, thereby compromising their location, the IDF said in a statement.
