Hey lovely /london community – coming back at you with another S2S update.

We’ve got a group of 20 guys within S2S we call the Connectors – the blokes who just get the values of the group. They just want other men to feel welcome, they want to set-up events and moderate chats and genuinely look out for the other guys. and they’ve properly stepped up this week with SO MANY events over the past few days. Curry clubs, meet-ups at the Tate Modern, beers in Hackney – and of course our regular Sunday walk and coffee in Hyde Park.

What it’s shown me is something I’ve believed for ages: men do want connection. They just want it in a way that feels normal – not forced, not cringe, not like you’re signing up for a group therapy. These meet-ups are so simple – sometimes we get a spontaneous message in the group like “I’m going for a walk at 7pm if anyone fancies it.” And suddenly five strangers are chatting like they’ve known each other for years.

Dan and I are super proud of what we've created here, something like this can exist without being weird or performative.

So if you know a guy that might benefit from being part of the group, you can find our website and IG below. And thanks to all of you reading this, Reddit has been INCREDIBLE for helping us reach more guys.

  1. Is Whatsapp the only way to join the group? I feel like giving number out of random people is a bit of a no no for myself. So doing telegram group would be better

  2. Good to see Eating With Todd getting the help he needs.

  3. I love that . It’s good to talk to people outside your immediate circle .

  4. Looks good, london can be a lonely place for new people to move to as it can be hard to make friends outside of work.

  5. Hey guys, sounds awesome. I’m keen to join but I don’t have insta

  6. Looks great! I should also highlight another London based org for LGBT men called BigGayOut! They’re on IG and host similar events

  7. Andrew Tate would he shaking in his boots right now

  8. I absolutely love this.

It sounds very similar to my experience with my local skateboarding community in London. We basically just add people to the WhatsApp group if they’re at least semi regular and almost every other day somebody posts a “do you want to hang out?” message in there. It’s often things that aren’t skateboarding, like one of them had a Christmas party at the weekend, we’ve been bowling, we go to gigs and festivals, I invited the whole group to my 30th and about 25 of them showed up, they came to my wedding.

It’s so good being part of a community and it’s nice to know things like this exist that aren’t tied to a specific hobby.

  9. Hey guys. I wish this community existed last year when I was in London and facing a false accusations. Please take care of yourself and be each other’s support system. We all need each other

  10. Hey I recognise these guys 🤣
It’s nice to see the progress and how massive this group has grown!

  11. I’m so proud of this group and being a Londoner doubly so.

  12. Fantastic lads! Keen to join one soon. Keep up the great work

  13. This is so great— genuinely positive and heartwarming

  14. Damn, you’ve made a Reddit in real life with the unpaid mods to boot 🤣

  15. Wish this went on in towns etc.

Could really do with something like this.

  16. This is really great to see Tom – men in London connecting so well, and having a good time socialising😌

Is there room for an ex Londoner to come along if and when able?😏

  17. Who’s the girl in picture 2, looking into the camera, she’s cute.
