  1. Maybe US companies should stop cheating so they don’t get fined.

    Just a thought.

  2. So those fines are pretty much a compensation for the taxes they’re not paying while making massive profits in Europe? I can live with that. We need more.

  3. You may not like it, but this is how a regulatory superpower looks like. 💪

  4. Another graph that shows the tax they should have paid Vs the fines they actually paid would be nice as well. Unless it’s the same number.

  5. While I also hate Elon, unfortunately he’s got a point, this only happens because European tech companies are small

  6. Seppos refusing to obey the rules is just like a free money glitch for the EU. If this were in a computer game it would be slammed for being unrealistic 🤣

  7. 3B is nothing and it’s probably much less than what they earn by breaking our laws.

  8. My local MDMA farm also pays more in fines then taxes

  9. So you’re telling me that we can fine them more? Let’s do this!

  10. Now show how much revenue/net profit they make compared to the other block in Europe alone. Pretty sure that ratio is a lot higher

  11. I wonder where many of these American HQ’s are based in the EU.

    Learned to play both sides…..

  12. Pictured: american confused by paying the price for cheating

  13. If they don’t like it they can withdraw their services from the EU.

Although I’m guessing the reason that they don’t do that is because they still make more money than they lose in penalties, so 🤷‍♂️

  14. Maybe stop going to foreign countries to break the law and you won’t get fined?

  15. Instead of applying irregular fines for their monopoly behaviour and supporting anti-european states+oligarchs, why don’t we close off our market to them and let European companies grow without bullying and without being bought out? China did it and their tech sector is now competing directly with the yanks.
