This is now officially nuts. Her dad’s doctor’s name was published this morning. It took me 10 seconds to find him and the hospital he works for.
I feel like there should be some way of Meghan identifying herself to the doctor and getting information without this drama (FaceTime?)

The Markles are toxic and should be ignored, but people are so thirsty for gossip about Meghan that they continue to devour every article written about this dysfunctional family.
I’m she confused. Didn’t Meghan’s team say they did reach out, then said they didn’t, and now they are saying they do? Do I have that correct?
It is shameful that this man has cozied up to the tabloids. The tabloids are shameful for inserting themselves between a father and his daughter. But Meghan made contact and is better than me because this man would have been dead to me years ago. A dead man can’t lose a leg.
Is no one disturbed that DM seems to be running a whole operation around this man?? And has been for years?
I can Imagine how Meghan feels right now. Yes, they were messy with their briefing on a situation that is obviously very confusing and difficult, but the media’s handling and use of her father against her has been appalling since the engagement.
It’s gleeful, the way the press goes after Meghan over everything including their continued manipulation of a man who is obviously not well in any way and who has spent the last years threatening his daughter.
What? Why? This is so freaking weird.
Honestly, this isn’t that unusual. If a US citizen with no nearby family is seriously ill abroad, the embassy needs to know who to reach out to in case he becomes incapacitated or dies.

So – if one really wants to get in touch with a parent in a hospital… especially in this case with so much media attention. It would be easy to find his hospital and get room phone number. It doesn’t seem like his daughter really wants to talk to him. Not our business on why.
So, if I’m getting this straight (and I’ll be honest, I briefly skimmed the article, since I’m REPULSED that I am…a) reading the Daily Mail, and b) reading about Thomas Markle).
This wasn’t a deathbed situation since per Google 185,000 people get amputations per year in the USA – usually from diabetes, smoking, blood clots, etc. He (and that ghoul from the Daily Mail) was trying to leverage sympathy to get photos of his grandkids to SELL.
And, please dont say they are his family!! To what I remember he has shown no interest in his other grandchildren. [No interest because no $$!]
So sad. Imagine continuously selling out your daughter for cash from the people who constantly abuse her.
