  1. I think we’re starting to see a new version of anorexia with these weight loss treatments. I know it’s not cool to publicly name actors or entertainers that are struggling with this, but every time I see someone walking around looking like a skeleton it really pains me, and I hope they get the treatment/help they need to overcome their self image issues.

  2. Maybe the rich should exhibit self control. Those weight-loss drugs should be available for people who need it— free with an actual prescription. It shouldn’t be given out like candy to anyone who asks.

  3. She’s not wrong. I find the access and willingness to take the injectable weight loss drugs sketchy as hell. I feel in a few years alot of bad shit will come out about them.

  4. I think we will see some really shocking deaths before the discussion really starts to happen and that is just terrible. What celebs and rich people are doing to themselves is insane. I mean i wanna say to each their own but theres parts of todays culture that desperately needs a reset.

  5. I think Kate is hot. Hot now, hot back in titanic days. Get the fuck outta here she was fat in titanic. She looked like a real woman. Like she does now.

  6. Kate’s got a point—real struggles deserve real empathy, not just filters.

  7. It’s at a point I started turning off movies & shows where I can’t concentrate because of it.

The Perfect Couple, for example, I like the actors but the work on Nicole Kidman just made me feel bad for her. It looked like she would’ve been in physical pain. I don’t like seeing people in pain so I just turned it off.

And some time period pieces with characters with lip fillers… just no. It looks so weird… like that uncanny valley type of thing.

  8. People need to mind their own business. If you don’t want to have plastic surgery, great, but stop telling other people how to live their lives.

  9. There is a massive problem with the weight loss in Hollywood. There are so many stars who have jumped on the Ozempic train who had no reason to.

  10. It’s like the whole crop of actors went down 4 sizes in two years.

  11. I wish they would let people age naturally, and then write stories that include them

  12. Seeing lip and cheek fillers, as well as botox in period dramas is especially distracting.

  13. You fly into lax and see like 10 women with the same face before you get outside – it’s fucking terrifying

  14. I hate watching films now for the fact it’s about who can move their face and who can’t. So many brilliant actors lost to it

  15. If the expectation is for people with personas of beauty and who are icons to all accept their aging looks, then it is doomed.

  16. It’s to the point now where you’ve got actors and actresses that can no longer emote , they have reach uncanny valley territory and besides what happened to normal average looking people that can actually act rather than just attract ?

  17. I remember “The Bible” 2013 when producer Roma Downey also casted herself as Mary, plastic Botox California Malibu Mary…

By far the most 4th wall breaking thing a production could do.

Women who age like Kate and keep it nature look amazing, I wish this push to look like a skeleton like Cappuccino Granada or Plastic Barbie dolls would end

  18. man plastic surgeons must’ve made a killing during covid, like wtf is going on

  19. I was watching a film with Naomi watts in it the other day and she looks gorgeous! So natural! . I then watched another film with Kidman and it was hard, she is still a great actress but I found the work she has done to her face so distracting.

  20. I don’t care if people do with their bodies that’s what they wanna do. They are consenting adults. They can do what they please however I like to see my actors and actresses actually emote while they’re conveying emotions, and the Botox is getting out of hand to where they wear one expression …especially with the period pieces, they have got to stop putting in a 2025 face in 1429. It’s not gonna work. I cannot relinquish reality enough to make that believable.

  21. Pretty sure the person who made that awful
Comment about her on the red carpet was Joan Rivers. Plastic surgery addict.

  22. The plastic surgery faces all look the same and how is it any different than Ai? I want real actors with moving faces. And wrinkles when they get that old so they have character & beauty. Real people for real stories.

  23. She’s spot on.

A certain group of women will no doubt crucify her for this, bits she absolutely right and absolutely justified in speaking up.

  24. All I know is Bradley Cooper really fucked himself up. Damn. He’s barely Cooper now.

  25. Kate Winslet has always been so refreshing to hear talk. She is so genuine and isn’t afraid to call out the bs in Hollywood . I still can’t believe people were calling her fat in the 90s. I can’t believe how toxic and awful the culture was then about women and their weight . It’s still bad but it was even worse then.

  26. This is the worlds smallest violin playing just for the actresses
