■ Israeli security forces raided two West Bank universities on Tuesday, arresting five campus security guards, according to Palestinian reports.
■ The body of the last foreign hostage, Sudthisak Rinthalak, was flown to Thailand to be laid to rest following a farewell ceremony held at Ben-Gurion Airport. Rinthalak, a Thai national, was murdered on October 7 near Kibbutz Be’eri.
■ The Gaza Strip remained the world’s most dangerous region for reporters in the past 12 months, with 29 journalists killed, the press watchdog Reporters without Borders (RSF) organization said.
■ The legal advisor to the Knesset’s Defense Committee said that a clause in the proposed draft-exemption bill allowing ultra-Orthodox men to perform civilian national service as part of the overall draft quota violates the principle of equality.
■ Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday designated CAIR, one of the largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy groups in the U.S., a “foreign terrorist organization,” following a similar step by Texas last month.
