US oil industry doesn’t see profit in Trump’s ‘pro-petroleum’ moves. As Trump makes announcements about efforts to promote fossil fuels, the industry isn’t exactly jumping at new opportunities. And the financial picture is moving against new drilling. Investment follows economics, not politics.

1. Why do you think Rex Tillerson (former Exxon CEO) called Trump a moron

   He said his knowledge of basic world events was so bad, like worse than an average American

   He said Trump and him would go into inportant meetings where it was simply a technicality and the deal was done, it was just a face to face, but then Trump would pick a fight for NO REASON, there would be a squabble lasting months, and in the end they agreed upon a deal that was already there to begin in the original meeting.

   I wonder when MAGA will realize that Trump lied when he claimed that Biden shut down the US oil industry. The industry actually had record profits under Biden and set new production records. There’s nothing like a booming economy to increase demand. Trump’s stupid tariff war is doing the opposite.

6. We were already at peak Output and we’ve had two refinery disasters over the last five years which hamper our overall output capabilities drastically. Oil execs told him before inauguration that they wanted to Decrease output because the stockpiles had every single tanker and tank farm overflowing since covid. This idiots done nothing
