It’s called a ‘skigard’, look it up in norwegian and you’ll surely find something.

I’m sure I have seen documentary footage of someone making these fences from like the 60s.
1. put sticks in the ground
2. put sticks around the sticks
3. put sticks through the sticks around the sticks
I build these every summer. Did about 15 of them just this summer
