I mean.. they’re Russians, but I’m guessing they’re still familiar with the principals of confidentiality, integrity and availability. They most likely have backups.

They should hack and destroy the payment system to the soldiers, that would f up their moral even worse.
This will actually matter more than a lot of kinetic attacks. This is how Russia puts bodies in front of bullets. If you can’t efficiently automate that process, your ability to progress slows down or reverses.
I suspect this is going to be a much bigger story down the road.
Why do you think this will take months to restore? It will take hours. I fucking wish it took months but that’s just not how it works.
