Schrodinger’s immigrant

  1. Here’s where it gets fun, so the mass immigration under the Tories (Boris wave) did cause a lot of very low skilled jobs to be taken by immigrants which took jobs from native people and also kept the wage low because they’d do it for peanuts, a large portion of those also collect income.

The illegal immigrants bit is even worse because they’re being exploited on almost serfdom levels of wages and exploitation.

We shouldn’t be importing unskilled labour, so long as employment isn’t at 100% we have people who could and should be doing those jobs, if they don’t want to just stop their benefits I’m sure they wouldn’t want to be like the immigrants they hate and only take right?

We should only import skilled labour where we are lacking in the fields. Also we should be making companies train local / native people one for one whenever they bring someone from abroad, so we can fill our own skill gaps.

I get this wasn’t really your point and it was more “hehe poor people stupid!” which yes but still they need help more than abuse.

  2. To make it ‘dinger’s theory it will have to involve opening the immigrant up to see which state they are in.

  3. This is so annoying. I don’t think many people think this.

It can both be the case that mass immigration of unskilled labour floods the labour market and immigrants collect a higher % of welfare on average.

  4. They also don’t get punished for committing crime, while simultaneously filling all the prisons

  5. Taking all the jobs hasn’t been a talking point for the last 20 odd years tbh

  6. The poles took the jobs. But now they’re gone and the boat migrants prefer welfare. It’s not complicated.

  7. Idk anyone who’s said any of this 💀 it’s more the crime they’re concerned with. This app is so libtarded

  8. Is it an immigrant’s fault for taking a job that an employer offers them? Is it not the employer’s choice as who to hire?

  9. Cash in hand from Deliveroo, a cosy hotel room, and three taxpayer funded hot meals a day. Ta-da!

  10. Litterally never heard anybody here claim they’re taking jobs, seems more of an American thing

  11. If someone with no connections, no skills and doesn’t speak the language steals your job maybe you were just shit at your job.

  12. I think people are mixing things up, the issue is the immigrants arriving in small boats, illegal immigrants.

Not genuine asylum seekers, or legal migrants with skills and a desire to join our nation through legitimate channels who are and always have been welcome.

Also what jobs are the illegal immigrants people are concerned about doing because technically 0 jobs should be taken by them so there’s no issue. More of a paradox?

Loads of lazy Brits could be booted off benefits to fill all the jobs people think are being taken by illegal immigrants.

Which in London seems to mostly be food delivery going on recent investigations and not doctors and nurses who don’t arrive in small boats with no passport.

  13. This isn’t applicable to Britain. If the person posting it was actually British and not a Russian shil then they would have known this.

    A) this meme is aimed at Mexicans and B) Nobody is saying immigrants are taking jobs in the UK.

Edit: But at least the user name checks out.

  14. Well done for stealing a meme from America, using a fucking Mexican.

  15. You can claim welfare and work cash in hand you know.

Obviously someone has never been in the working world 🤦🏼‍♂️

  16. This would be the case if there wasn’t more than 1 immigrant. Several million on the other hand…

  17. Schrodinger? sounds like one of them foreigners, bet he came in on a dinghy from the middle east! THIS ARE CUNTRY, PISS OFF! /s

  18. They also come over here to gain assylum and get settled before they bring their family over, but come here to join their family?

  19. Blooming foreign trolls, coming government here posting foreign memes…

  20. Here we are again! Saw this last week, and the week before etc etc.

  21. I like that they’re also scoungers collecting welfare while also being rich enough to buy up all the housing driving up prices. Like damn, what magic spells are they casting to turn lower than minimum wage benefits into a house.

  22. This is a simple mental tool to understand if you’re being manipulated.

Is the [target] portrayed as being parasitic and draining public resources while also taking jobs and houses while driving up house prices, then you are the victim of brainwashing.

  23. They can do jobs and still require benefits because of how fucking piss poor pay which is the fucking point; big companies want lots of people so ure worth less and they can pay like shit

  24. Schrödinger’s Immigration Policy is sold as the solution to economic problems, yet somehow creates new ones we’re told more immigration will fix.

Not enough homes? Bring more immigrants to work in construction. Too many people immigrated? Need new homes. Bring in more immigrants to build them.

Not enough nurses? Bring more immigrants to work in the NHS. Too many people using the NHS and the services are overstretched? Quick, bring in more immigrants to work for the NHS.

Not enough carers? Bring more immigrants to work in care homes. Too many immigrants getting old and needing care homes? Better bring in some care workers from abroad to care for them.

22 million people immigrated to the UK since 1980 and the country is shitter than it has ever been.

Meanwhile nobody immigrated to Poland or Israel or South Korea and all 3 surpassed our living standards last year despite being agricultural poverty hellholes in 1980.

  25. I agree with this nuance.

But my frustration isn’t with the people falling for it, you’re always going to have a large populous that is open to manipulation.

My argument is with those pushing that brainwashing narrative, from both sides. I firmly believe there are bad actors on both the far left and the far right.

The goal IS division. So that the weaker less favourable parties and policies slip in. Costing us more of our rights, our freedoms, our luxuries and our overall health.

  26. As someone who lives in the uk but can’t stand the people who got here before me I support more immigration simply to replace the damn wingers

  27. how stupid do you have to be do to not understand its both

  28. I never hear anyone say this stuff, yet i hear everyone complaining about people saying this stuff, posting memes they made, saying said stuff. TF.

This is like a lazy 90s argument people used to make against anti immatgation groups.

Yet i never hear an anti immagration group like reform say this stuff.
