  1. Also the longest period with consistent strong winds since 2018.

  2. So basically our border security is contingent on the weather.

  3. Weather doing a better job than the coastguard, navy, UK gov…

  4. Odd that this coincides with the vigilantes going over and destroying any stashed boats they found.

  5. So far, 39,292 people have crossed to the UK aboard small boats this year – already more than any other year except 2022.

The record that year was set at 45,774 arrivals.

So…not much of a difference considering they’re illegally entering the country. How is that a win, from nearly 33k to nearly 46?

  6. Even if they stopped these boats, the people who it matters to the most wouldn’t care. It wouldn’t change their vote and they’d just find another target for their anger

  7. crowing like 40k illegals that we know of, because the are the ones who have claimed asylum, isn’t a massive issue.

  8. Ignoring the weather, I think the appeal of this shithole is fading.

  9. I really miss not having all these doctors and engineers coming. IDK how we would cope without them.

  10. Good to see bad weather and some blokes going to break the boats outdid the Home office that has an annual budget of £27.8bl.

  11. It’s like no one learns the history of the Spanish Armada anymore.

  12. Probably due to that group who’s over in France slashing the boats

  13. Why the fk are people going on on on on on about it then?

  14. UK snowflakes for the last 30 years:

I have a small penis and it is the …

    – EU’s fault
    – the Romanian’s fault
    – the Bulgarian’s fault
    – the Polish’ fault
    – EU citizen’s fault
    – illegal’s fault
    – and so and on and on and on.

  15. They’ve started coming in the lorries again. Only the other day loads more have been spotted.
