This is so fucked up.

We just came back from visiting friends, when a truck with hunters inside stopped, opened their doors and shot our neighbor's dog.

What the fuck happened. Why?? Who does such a thing??

We found the dog on the other side of our fence, bleeding to death. We tried applying pressure on the 3 wounds to stop the bleeding, but she stopped breathing after 10 minutes. She died in our hands. She was like a friend to us and our dogs.

Owner was not at his house. We contacted him, he came and picked up the dead dog. We showed him the CCTV.

Please help me makes sense of this, this is so fucked up.

The dog just had two babies, I'll add a photo in comment.

  2. Is the plate readable on the original video recording? Send this to the news and share around Facebook immediately. And obviously contact the police, if you already didn’t…

    And I know probably it’s not the case, but was the dog aggressive? Maybe a chance that it attacked these idiots (or their dogs) previously? Not that this would justify their murder, or anything. Just trying to figure out some better logical explanation for such brutality… This is really fucked up

  4. Like instead of coming to Reddit for answers call 112 … and show the cctv to the police. Hunters are required to have a license and I can bet 10 bucks all hunters are know to local authorities

  6. Sorry that you had to experience this. It sounds traumatizing. Make sure to call 112. Unfortunately I suspect that the people from the car had some kind of a beef with your neighbour and decided to solve it “old” way.

  8. can you find the bullet? my father has told me they can find the owner of the weapon from the bullet but i dont think its real. still ask someone about this it might be worth it

  9. I could be very wrong, but that bull bar/winch in the front could help identify the exact vehicle if you get this out to enough people via the news channels.

    The wheels may also not be original.

  10. Based on the current evidence, I do not believe you. Here is what I see:

    You claim that you witnessed a crime. You have presented a CCTV recording as evidence. The crime, and the events immediately before it, have been cut out from your recording, for no apparent reason.

    How do you explain that your recording is missing precisely the parts which are crucial to understanding what actually happened?
